I get the impresssion that us ‘fellow Brits’ love…


 So apart from being so damn gorgeous Audrey is a complete style icon and a brilliant role model for young girls and women everywhere. Sadly she died age 63 from cancer, this was a great sadness fro many people and as me olde nan says, “everybody wanted  to be Audrey Hepburn”  She was an actress and starred in films such as My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffanys.

 So Rihanna (Rihi). You may wonder why? Well I was looking up style icons on the ‘interweb’ (as you do) and Rihi came up like a million times, I guess her style can  be outrageous but also very on trend I personally love her casual looks and her hair is awesome –that girl can pull off anything! BY the way Rihi is a singer/actress!

She’s done Vogue TOPSHOP, MANGO the list goes on with what this british babe has done. She also did a Heroin Chic look for Calvin Klein, and incase you haven’t guessed she is a model, Moss has been successful for a long time and in 2007 she came second on the forbes top-earning models list and was estimated to have earned $9 million in one year. She is also known for her controversial private life: high-profile relationships, party lifestyle and more.

Viki is a businesswomen, fashion designer and singer -What more can you ask? She found fame as the posh spice of the Spice Girls on Top of the Pops; then after they split she became a solo singer and was signed to Virgin records. She then married Footballer David Beckham and had four children. She then designed a line of jeans for Rock & Republic, then later designed her own denim brand, dvb style. She has also produced a range of: Handbags, jewellery, sunglasses and fragrances.

Chezza! So the nation’s sweetheart is back and better than ever, starting off in GIRLS ALOUD she then  joined x factor, became a solo singer, teamed up with l’Oreal, appeared as cover girl on Vogue, got may number ones, wrote a few songs, made friends with Will.i.am -Not a bad days work! Not everybody is a fan of her music however her fashion sense is the sense you want to have! Always looking gorgeous with the designer clothes to die for!

Susie Bubble is a blogger, writer and editor, working and living in London (her parents are from Hong Kong however she si British born). Susie/Susanna Lau has a blog called Style bubble = http://www.stylebubble.co.uk/   It consists of her widely read thoughts, personal experiences and observations on fashion with a focus on spotlighting young and unknown talent.  Susie now works full-time on her blog and other freelance projects, including writing for Elle, The Daily Rubbish and Dazed Digital.

Tavi is American and started her fashion blog in 2008 –Style Rookie = http://www.thestylerookie.com/. Although Gevinson described herself as a “tiny 13 year old dork that sits inside all day wearing awkward jackets and pretty hats”, many looked to her for style inspiration. In mid-2009, Gevinson partnered with the London-based Borders&Frontiers to design and sell her own t-shirt. In August 2009, she appeared on the cover of Pop magazine, which featured photographs by Jamie Morgan and was designed by artist Damien Hirst. Tavi has been featured in the View section of the December/January 2010 issue of Teen Vogue magazine and February 2010 issue of the French Vogue. Bloggers like Tavi have been referred to as the “frontline of fashion.”
